Ozark Dermatology Aesthetics located in Northwest Arkansas provides peels as a skin care procedure. Schedule your peels treatment at our Medical spa.

Chemical peels, MicroLaserPeel®, and microdermabrasions are all exfoliating services that peel off layers of skin to improve the overall texture, tone, wrinkles, scars and blemishes. Everyone's skin is unique, your provider will discuss which treatment(s) will be best upon consultation.

Chemical peels removes the top layer of dead cells resulting in smoother, healthier looking skin on the face, neck or hands. They improve the appearance of mild skin discoloration, rough skin, age spots, fine lines, wrinkles, freckles and shallow scars. A chemical solution is applied to the skin that causes it to exfoliate and eventually peel off. We offer a variety of chemical peel ranging from light to deep, with typically 2-4 days of peeling. The new skin is also temporarily more sensitive to the sun. Patients will see a dramatic improvement in skin appearance.

MicrolaserPeel® removes a thin layer of damaged skin with great precision of depth to improve texture and provide a more youthful, vibrant appearance. Removing the top layer eliminates some of the damaged cells that can give skin a tired, aged look. As the skin heals, fresh cells grow and resurface the treated area resulting in healthier looking skin, often with reduced wrinkles and improved color evenness. Laser treatments are highly targeted and can be precisely administered. For example, when using a laser to treat acne scars it is possible to just target the scars tissue itself and leave the healthy skin alone. It is also possible to use a laser to promote new collagen production faster with more effective results.

Microdermabrasion uses a special machine that applies a slightly rough applicator tip to the surface of the skin of the face or neck to remove the outer layer of dead cells, cleans out the pores, and stimulates the production of new cells. This results in a smoother skin texture. The procedure is painless and non-invasive. Multiple sessions may be required in some cases.
